Call for Public Feedback - 2025-26 & 2026-27 School Calendars

At its Regular Meeting on February 12, 2024, the Board of Education for School District No. 91 (Nechako Lakes) passed a motion to collect public feedback regarding an amendment to the previously approved 2025-2026 school calendar and regarding the draft 2026-2027 school calendar.

The proposed amendment to the 2025-2026 school calendar is to shift Spring Break 2026 from March 23-April 6 to March 16-27. This change would put SD91's Spring Break 2026 into alignment with the majority of other BC school districts. This Spring Break shift carries over to the proposed 2026-2027 school calendar as well.
